    Associate – Full Time Role – Melford Capital Advisers Ltd, Knightsbridge, London
    Melford is an entrepreneurial investor in UK real estate. Melford adopts a value-oriented and price-disciplined approach to investing in assets combined with a creative approach to value enhancement.

    We have expertise in turnarounds, development and special situations investing whereby we seek to create meaningful value by enhancing the quantum, quality and duration of cashflows.

    Melford invests across all real estate sectors, either in standalone single assets or by developing scalable franchises in strategies where we believe we can compound capital over time.

    Whilst this role will predominantly be supporting the finance function, the small and collaborative nature of the team will mean that you will be involved in all areas of the business from investment structuring and asset management to reporting and audit.

    Managing the review and accurate delivery of quarterly and annual accounts and associated filings

    • Supporting the team with financial analysis pursuant to acquisitions and disposals
    • Maintaining financial models for investments and funds
    • Managing and maintaining strong relationships with service providers including fund administrators, accountants and tax advisers
    • Other ad hoc duties relating to general administration
    Strong attention to detail, numeracy, written English, intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn

    • Good understanding of office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
    24 days annual leave (not including bank holidays)
