Join our Power T&D team as a Project Planner/Planning Engineer.North East location and supporting cabling, OHL and Substation projects. Full time hours; 5 Monday to Friday. Hybrid working.
Full driving license will be required.
As a Project Planner/Planning Engineer, you will have the following accountabilities:
Responsible for the updating and maintenance of all aspects of the Power T&D Cabling project P6 programme
Plan, structure and maintain an accurate fully logically linked programme in line with the contract requirements
Identify programme risks / opportunities and propose mitigation / capture strategies.
This will require close work with the project delivery team to regularly maintain the status of the programme
operatives, key plant and equipment, supply chain and other project milestones to allow the project to proceed in accordance with the baseline
Provide the appropriate programming, management and interfaces between business functions and the delivery team to ensure that contractual milestones in all sections of the project delivery programme are understood, monitored and adhered to in a controlled and appropriately timely manner
Proven experience of Planning Tools such as Primavera P- preferably on Power Transmission projects
Operational experience of construction projects
Working experience of Project Management methodology
Proven ability in working with engineering / operational teams to capture real time progress
