Content Producer - London, United Kingdom - Gorilla

    Default job background
    Full time
    Description

We're at a turning point in history. Climate change is changing the world faster than ever before. Utilities will play a crucial role in the transformation of our society to fight climate change and become carbon-neutral, while at the same time making sure people and businesses can continue to use energy supply like they've been used to for so many years. At Gorilla, we're determined to not stay aside, but to make a real impact on the utility industry by providing data services that allow utilities to play the role they need to play in the quest for a net-zero society. By building something that solves a real problem, and by being the best at what we do.

    Marketing content producer

We're on the look out for a detail-oriented Content Producer to join our dynamic marketing team. You'll play a crucial role in developing, producing, and managing a diverse range of content, spanning articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, social media, and more. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of content strategy, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly across teams.

As a natural storyteller, you excel at directing, storyboarding, scripting, and editing multimedia content, including podcasts, video series, and webinars. Audience-centricity is your mantra, ensuring your content educates, entertains, and inspires. With expertise in audio and video editing basics, you effortlessly coordinate with design teams, videographers, and specialist agencies to oversee content production from start to finish. Comfortable liaising with various teams, you unearth compelling stories and engage subject matter experts to enrich your projects.

    What you'll do at Gorilla:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team and stakeholders to develop and execute content strategies tailored to target audiences.
    • Research, write, and edit high-quality content for various channels, maintaining consistency in voice, tone, and messaging.
    • Create engaging multimedia content, such as videos, infographics, and interactive content, that communicates key messages.
    • Craft content narratives aligned with audience interests through meticulous research and storyboarding.
    • Serve as the in-house expert on multimedia content formats, leading production processes, tooling, and best practices, while providing training.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to uncover the right stories and subject matter expertise
    • Monitor content performance using analytics tools, analyse data to uncover trends and insights, and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.

    Requirements

    • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
    • Professional portfolio showcasing video and podcast content across multiple marketing channels.
    • Proficiency in multimedia content creation tools and software, such as video-editing, product management, and video marketing software.
    • Strong project management skills, capable of prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and web analytics tools.
    • Creative problem-solving abilities, with a knack for generating innovative content ideas and approaches.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

You'll stand out if you have:

    • Background in broadcast journalism.
    • Hosting or on-camera experience.
    • Content creation within the energy market.
    • Launching content initiatives across multiple regions

    Benefits

You become part of an ambitious organisation and an enthusiastic team with a mindset to win As Gorilla is growing at an incredible pace, you can leave your mark – growing alongside Gorilla.
