    Description

    Our client, a leading company in the health care industry, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their in-house legal team based in Birmingham. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in advising and negotiating contracts with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and delivering exceptional service to our client.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement contracting strategies in compliance with relevant legislation.
    • Provide legal support on various contracts, including agreements for products, services and software.
    • Draft, review and negotiate agreements across the business.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to select appropriate legal documents.
    • Offer legal guidance on contract interpretation and other related issues.
    • Assist in the development of policies relating to the contracting process and ethics and compliance matters.
    • Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

    Requirements:

    • UK Qualified Solicitor with some experience in drafting both commercial and procurement agreements.
    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
    • Sound understanding of the commercial aspects of contracts.
