    Description

    Ford & Stanley Group, The Rail Recruitment Specialists are working with a Global leader in rubber fabrication, on their search for a Key Account/Sales Manager.

    Situation


    With a current turnover of over £200 million, this Rail Market leader has an ambitious aim of transforming turnover to £1billion - in order to drive this expansion, they are seeking to push into the MOD sector.


    Opportunity

    A driven Sales professional is required in order to help them achieve new market growth within the UK Defence sector.

    to grow the expansion into this sector.


    Key responsibilities:

    Account Management:

    For your specified geographical footprint and/or product range and/or market: develop and execute account strategies for key customers to achieve our growth targets.

    Maintain a deep understanding of each customers' business objectives and industry trends.

    Lead Assessment:

    Conduct thorough assessments to identify opportunities for value-added services and solutions, maximising our product content Collaborate with internal teams to tailor offerings to meet customer requirements.


    Customer Engagement:
    Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Be a primary point of contact for the customer and act as a voice of customer within the company. Representing the company at industry events such as conferences and trade shows.

    Market Insights:
    Keep yourself on-track about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities. Use market insights to identify growth potential within key accounts.
    Converting opportunities and closing sales to build and maintain a pipeline of repeating orders, ensuring a predictable revenue stream.
    Growth – growing the portfolio of existing and new customers. Developing new practices to enhance sales.

    Location:
    Ideally based Little Hampton or Burton but flexible.


    Essential criteria:


    UK MOD experience/ military experience with knowledge of Land sector/armored vehicles – able to support with initial strategy and target companies.

    Proven sales / account management pedigree

    Desirable:
    B2B engineering based sales but will consider any background.
