The Corporate Sustainability and Reporting team (CS&R) is based in the UK and Singapore, reporting into the Chief Legal Officer.
The CS&R team works with the business to develop and deliver the Sustainability agenda and associated change programme, and also advise on the strategic corporate level approach.
Alongside the production, assurance and publication of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) disclosures, this work involves the identification, assessment and management of sustainability risk, data collection for reporting, and the planning, coordination and capture of ESG initiatives happening across the business.
We support Sustainability activities across multiple functions and markets, focusing on effective stakeholder engagement and communication.We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Lead Analytics Engineer to join our Corporate Sustainability and Reporting team.
The role will be primarily responsible for ensuring that the reporting needs of the business stakeholders are met which will involve delivery (including requirements capture, design, build, deploy and maintenance) and utilisation of data products to satisfy stakeholders and sustainability legislation compliance obligations.
You'll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up type environment where collaboration and results which propel Dyson on it's journey towards Sustainability are critical.
The role will both allow Dyson to fulfil its sustainability reporting obligations and facilitate improved understanding of the ESG status within Dyson.
This position reports to the Sustainability Analytics Manager and is based in Malmesbury, England.Define, lLead development of and maintain data models with enrichment where necessary
Enable the business to make sound Sustainability decisions, calling on business understanding and insights from data
Drive business transformation through robust relationships with the use of data, analytics, and great communication
Prepare the business for legislation changes by proactively identifying and solving data challenges
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security through robust testing and validation
Support with the development of a data and analytics strategy to drive future direction
Lead in the identification and implementation of data quality and performance improvements
Be willing to be flexible in tasks and activities taken on
Experience of working with and modelling complex data sets in data warehouses
Experience with industry-standard visualisation and Business Intelligence tools like Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.
Familiar with ETL (on premise or cloud based) and competent with SQL
Familiarity with data transformation tools such as DBT
The ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and develop deep content knowledge quickly.
