    Initial DescriptionThis is an incredible opportunity to join a growing and highly talented Business Intelligence team.

    You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining business critical reporting systems across the Protein Works including marketing, trading, operations and finance.

    You will have a strong understanding and appreciation of data engineering concepts and how to apply them using the Google Cloud Platform.

    You will possess an unwavering passion for data and how it can improve business performance.


    The role:

    Data EngineerImmediate ResponsibilitiesManaging and delivering end to end BI reporting projects from initial brief/requirement gathering to data pipeline development (APIs/ETL/ELT/SQL) to visualizationUndertaking ad hoc BI tasks based on business requirements and prioritiesAs part of the BI team you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and enhancement of the data quality, security and performance of the Data Lake/WarehouseAssisting your Data Analyst colleagues to generate impactful business insights and analysisSupport the Senior Data Engineer in managing the BI ticket system to ensure tasks are resolved in a timely and effective mannerYou'll Naturally Be Like This...Possess a "can-do" attitudeHighly enthusiastic with a drive to improve and develop new ways of workingAbility to clearly communicate complex topics in simple terms, to a variety of audiencesAvid self-learner & share knowledge across the businessHighly motivated self-starterPlace a high value on delivering business impactPositively impatientGreat at building positive, productive collaborations and teamsExcellent interpersonal skillsNon-Negotiables Demonstrable data engineering experience with an enterprise data warehouse platformExtremely strong SQL skillsSignificant API experienceExperience with visualization tools e.
