    Senior CloudArchitect OperatingModel

    Location:Hybrid London/Remote 2 days per week in London

    Salary:

    SCCLEARANCE

    This role requires SCclearance and in future will require DV clearance. Upon joiningCloudscaler we will undertake SC clearance checks so you must beeligible to pass SC clearance and ideally DV clearance.

    What we are lookingfor

    We are looking for AWSArchitects with extensive cloud platform knowledge. For us thismeans experience of designing and operating enterprisescale landingzones and cloud platforms within AWS. It also means you need anunderstanding of the key security risks that are present whenoperating workloads within AWS and how to mitigate these risks.

    This role will also have a heavy focus oncreating and embedding cloud operating models with our customers soprevious experience of this isessential.

    What you willbe doing

    We are looking for anexperienced Cloud Architect to focus on creating and embeddingcloud operating models with our customers. Whilst you will also beinvolved in wider platform architecture activities; defining theinfrastructure network and security design and designing platformtooling services you will be our Cloud Operating Model expert.

    When working with customers as a Cloud OperatingModel/CCoE Consultant you willbe:

    • Defining roles andresponsibilities within the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE)underpinned by RACI matrix
    • Working with teamswithin the CCoE to create runbooks for eachprocess
    • Embedding the cloud operating modelwith customers ensuring shared responsibility culture is adopted

    When working with customers as aCloud Architect you willbe:

    • Understanding complex requirementsand designing secure scalable and resilient platforms onAWS
    • Designing and providing the technicalgovernance over the delivery of significant workloads on thecloud
    • Architecting complex systems andplatforms enabling them to run seamlessly at scale includingdefining the infrastructure network and securitydesign
    • Designing solutions to prevent detectand remediate key security risks that are present when usingAWS
    • Setting the technical standards that definewhat good looks like for all services and put checks in place toensure their compliance
    • Designing anddelivering workloads using a wide range of AWS services including;AWS Organizations CloudTrail SecurityHub GuardDuty IAM and IAMIdentity Center
    • Providing technical leadershipto crossfunctional teams defining technical direction and strategyof teams andsystems
