Description

We are looking for a Trade Finance Surety Specialist - Fronting to join our Global Surety team based in London.

What you do

- To process global fronting operations from all Allianz Trade Business Units
- Support the fronting manager with existing relationship with partner banks
- Optimizes and harmonizes fronting processes for Surety with aim of adding value to business

The main tasks include:

- Timely process Surety fronting requests, including enquires, quotations, bond wording acceptances, counter-guarantees, SWIFT messages to banks, SBLC/BG issuances and invoicing.
- Monitor and provide constant update about application status for the requesting BU's.
- Constantly look for process improvements and aim to customers' service excellence.
- Seek alignment with Surety U/W, Legal and Finance functions supporting business growth and process optimization.
- Maintain good relationship with banks.
- Keep the Fronting Map up-to-date including Allianz Trade's fronting capabilities globally.
- Assure that fronting processes are followed and data entry is accurate in the system.
- Develop fronting reports on fronting deals and banks' portfolio.

What you bring

Market knowledge:
- Previous experience with the bank sector and fronting operations.

Business expertise:
- Strong processes skills.
- In depth understanding of Fronting processes and workflows.
- Considerable experience in working with banks.

Interpersonal skills:
- Solid customers-oriented and production management skills.
- Ability to build long-term and collaborative customers and banks relationships.
- Excellent English writing and verbal skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to negotiate and hold difficult meetings with stakeholders.
- Effective self-management skills.
- Willingness to support changes when necessary.
