    Description

    We are thrilled to offer an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Controller to become part of a well-established company located in Normanton.

    Our client takes pride in being the largest Iveco Dealer Group & Fiat Van Dealer in the UK. With a history of over a century as a family-owned business, they provide comprehensive commercial Vehicle Solutions.

    This position is on a permanent basis.

    Working Hours:

    • 42.5 Basic Weekly Hours
    • Start and Finish times to be confirmed
    • Monday to Friday
    • Out of operating hours support for customer breakdowns on a Rota basis

    Pay: £26,000-£28,000 per Annum

    There is an opening for a Maintenance Controller to collaborate within the Customer Service Centre team. The role involves managing maintenance for a variety of LGV/HGV vehicles under different customer contracts. The position is situated in South Normanton, Derbyshire.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities of a Maintenance Controller:

    • To ensure prompt answering of all incoming calls as per service centre terms
    • To select qualified suppliers for service and repairs, prioritizing cost-effectiveness
    • To coordinate breakdown incidents according to customer SLAs
    • To track incidents through completion and update records accordingly
    • To manage maintenance, breakdowns, and accidents for various equipment and contracts
    • To liaise with key stakeholders for servicing and MOT requirements
    • To maintain up-to-date maintenance records through the supplier portal
    • To uphold procedures and report non-compliance
    • To maintain a professional workplace image

    Desired Skills of a Maintenance Controller:

    • Fluency in German
    • Experience in the motor vehicle industry, compliance experience beneficial
    • Experience in a fast-paced customer environment
    • Self-motivated with strong communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
    • Well-organized with attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
