    Description

    We have an exciting new role come in for a Catering Assistant to work for Lincolnshire Police at their headquarters in Nettleham.

    This is a temporary role, working 30 hours a week Monday to Friday, 7.This is due to Police Vetting Criteria.

    The puprose of this role is to help provide and maintain a high standard of food and beverage service to the customer and to assist in the smooth running of the unit.

    Prepare working, service and dining areas for food production and service.

    # Assist with the preparation and presentation of food items and beverages including cooking tasks, maintaining high standards of hygiene and service and ensuring food displays are laid out and replenished as required.

    # Serving of main meals during lunch service times.

    # Preparing and garnishing food for hospitality catering.

    # Clearing and cleaning of all service, preparation, and dining areas. Cleaning of equipment.

    # Provision of catering for emergency and planned incidents as required. The post holder will be required to undertake appropriate Food Safety and Health and Safety training.

    # The post holder will be required to wear a uniform and appropriate footwear and hair protection.

    Experience of working in a catering environment
    Basic food hygiene skills
    Experience of preparation of sandwiches and food snack items
    Experience of cleaning/washing up, general kitchen duties and table preparation
    Must have an adaptable and flexible approach, with a willingness to learn
