- Support the CFPL Risk & Assurance Lead to manage and maintain oversight of 3rd party mystery shopper activity
- Carry out assurance checks with operational managers to ensure they are correctly following quality assurance processes and identifying any areas for improvement
- Support the CFPL Risk & Assurance Lead to evolve the CFPL quality assurance to be more client focused as the procedures become more embedded and in line with regulatory requirements
- Carry out testing of risk controls in line with the 1st line assurance testing plan
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence, coach and train colleagues

We're looking for a risk & assurance manager to join our Funeralcare 1st line risk team, operating within Coop Funeral Plans Ltd (CFPL).
As the UK's leading funeral services provider, we value people and pride ourselves on offering a caring, professional, and compassionate service.
We're split into two businesses:
Co-op Funeral Plans Limited (CFPL), an FCA regulated business and Funeral Services Limited (FSL), a CMA regulated business.
We'll also look to you to support the CFPL Risk and Assurance Lead to coach and develop senior managers and colleagues in our Funeralcare branches on risk management best practice.
