Individual Support Solutions was founded in 2011, the two founders have over 30 years' experience of managing Social Care Services within both public and private sector organisations.

The company continues to grow - employing over 100 staff and supporting over 150 people a week with a learning disability and/or autism.


As a Support Worker, you will provide support to adults with a learning disability/autism in our Supported Living services or in their own homes, and to access activities and facilities of their choice within their local community.


This is an excellent opportunity for a Support Worker in our Nuneaton Supported Living Service.

Salary information:


Salary:
£25,448.80 per year rising to £26, based on 37 hours and one sleep per week)
OR £29,291.08 rising to £30, based on 37 hours and two sleeps per week)

Part-time example: £16,105.44 per year rising to £16, based on 21 hours per week plus 1 sleep)

Plus: 45p per mile and up to 1 hour travel time paid


Responsibilities include:


  • Supporting people with everyday tasks such as cleaning, shopping, food preparation, cooking and budgeting.
  • Supporting people to meet up with friends and family and maintain relationships.
  • Supporting people to pursue leisure activities in their local area.
  • Supporting people to meet their personal care and eating and drinking needs.
  • Supporting people to arrange health appointments, attend health appointments and to administer medication.

Job role requirements:


  • No previous experience is necessary as full training and induction will be given.
  • A car that you can use for work with business insurance.
  • To be able to work a range of hours/ shifts that will include daytimes, afternoons, evenings, weekends and sleep in shifts. Hours of work are provided via a rota at least three weeks in advance.
  • Working 3 weekends out of 4 if full time.
