    Why is this Senior Technical Architect position a great opportunity?

    The Senior Architect will design Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions on IaaS and PaaS and will be comfortable presenting these solutions to clients in workshops and demonstrations. The Senior Architect will manage the end-to-end delivery working with other Architects and Consultants to ensure our projects are delivered with time and quality a key objective

    • Manages architecture, preparation and delivery for projects.
    • Can advocate innovation both within the organisation and with clients, and promotes collaboration amongst teams.
    • Provides advanced technical knowledge, direction and training to others.
    • Datacentre migration of applications, virtual machines and databases and associated core technologies.
    • Experience leading delivery engagements and managing technical teams.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of relationships in a complex environment.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening): an ability to present information concisely, to communicate in a manner applicable to all levels.
    • Able to produce high quality and professional presentations.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure documents are consistent in language, terminology and style.
    • Flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards.
    • Ability to handle highly confidential information with tact and discretion.

    Core Technical Knowledge Required:

    • Ideally background in on premises infrastructure, virtualisation technologies or applications.
    • Proven experience with Active Directory (Entra ID, Azure AD DS, on premises AD DS).
    • Proven experience with Microsoft 365 core services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
    • Proven experience with Microsoft 365 advanced features (Endpoint Manager, Defender suite, Information Protection)
    • Proven experience with Azure IaaS (virtual machines, storage, networking, security).
    • Proven experience with Azure Backup & Recovery Services.
    • Experience with Azure SQL Databases (Managed Instances, PaaS, IaaS).
    • Experience with security practices (Zero Trust, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel).
    • Experience with Windows Server\Linux OS.
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, PowerShell).
    • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Solution Architect Expert level)

    As a Senior Technical Architect, you'll be responsible for:

    • Work with clients demonstrate how their cloud strategy aligns with Microsoft technology.
    • Creating low level architectural designs based on customer requirements.
    • Deliver product presentations and configured demonstrations to prove our ability to meet a prospect's cloud adoption needs.
    • Act as the Technical Design Authority on projects alongside the Solution Architects.
    • Provide governance to projects and mentor members of the team.
    • Showcase our propositions to customers via online meetings and face to face workshops.
    • Engage with stakeholders and ensure our solutions are understood.
    • Work on proposals and RFI's alongside the sales team.
    • Maintaining technical knowledge by working closely with our Microsoft account teams.
    • Propose and work with the Innovation Lab on new IP, products and services or product improvements.

    £70,000 - £80,000 a year
