You'll have the opportunity to lead a dynamic team of Network Engineers, working on network expansion projects and contributing to the growth and maintenance of the network infrastructure.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring your team connect new sites and customers to the network, ensuring seamless connectivity, and conducting thorough testing.
You'll be at the forefront of innovation, demonstrating leadership skills to implement new procedures.
Your work will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of the network, and you'll have the satisfaction of seeing your contributions make a difference.
You'll join a fast-growing AltNet that provides services UK-wide. As a Network Manager, you'll lead a team of engineers, dedicated to maintaining and expanding the network capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the technical support team to ensure they have the knowledge to deal with all customer enquiries
Develop a culture which clearly outlines expectations for each member of the Network team and encourages personal responsibility and development
Complete cabinet builds to ensure they are ready for delivery to site
Collaborate with external suppliers to solve issues
Ensure all changes to the network are documented and highlighted to the relevant team members
Leading the improvement of processes within the department to encourage a more streamlined delivery
Troubleshoot issues efficiently while effectively communicating escalations and outcomes
Provide guidance and mentoring to engineers, supporting the design, implementation and troubleshooting when required
Skills/Must have:
Network/NOC Team Lead Experience
In-Depth Network Understanding
Desire To Take The Lead On Projects
IP Networking Background (BGP/MPLS/OSPF)
