    Description

    Master Locksmith

    *Immediate Start*

    North London

    Working Hours

    The job is a full-time job with no limits to the uppermost working hours. Normal working hours will be 46.75

    Duties

    ·Attend customer premises to carry out works

    ·Survey work and advise on best products for customer's needs

    ·Liaise with customers and carry out tasks as instructed/suggested on site, including but not limited to:

    Fit,open, replace door and window locks

    Fit safes, security grilles and door closers

    ·Complete all necessary documents as required for the work carried out such as quotes and sales orders

    ·Collect payment from the client for the works carried out following company procedures

    ·Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, whilst maintaining the highest level of professional conduct

    ·Liaise with other departments within the company as required in order to carry out your responsibilities – examples may be for upselling or any key-cutting requirements paired with lock-fitting

    ·To be familiar with and to follow the company operating procedures wherever relevant to your responsibilities

    ·To make suggestions on improving the procedures of the company, particularly as it affects the Locksmith Department

    ·To assist with maintaining the company's policy on quality

    ·To work in a safe and efficient manner with minimum supervision but to refer to a Manager or Director when their assistance or guidance will promote improved customer service

    ·To be respectful of your working environment and the tools provided by the company to perform your duties

    ·This is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation

    ·Able to work both independently and within a team

    ·Good level of basic mathematical understanding

    ·IT literate

    ·Work completed to a level that is satisfactory to customers and the company with a focus on quality

    ·Comprehensive knowledge of products that we install

    ·Positive working relationship with our clients and your work colleagues

    ·Improved knowledge of work that's being carried out

    ·Contributions to better working practices and a growing client base for repeat custom

    Relevant Experience

    ·Locksmith experience (3 years' experience preferred but not essential)

    ·Sales background is considered an asset

    Relevant Education/

    Certifications

    ·Minimum GCSE/"O" Level Maths and English

    ·Certification or completion of locksmith courses considered an asset

    ·DBS check required

    ·UK Driver's license
