    Description

    Contrarius is a small, but established and successful, investment advisor. We focus primarily on global shares andhave a long-term approach to investing with a typical investment horizon of four years. Our investment philosophy could be described as'contrarian', and is based on detailed proprietary research.

    As an intellectually focused business, we depend on the quality of our people. We are looking for exceptional individuals whoare curious, self-motivated, and share our long-term approach.

    The Role

    This is an opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic, thoughtful graduate to learn about the investment industry. Wedo not require any specific experience but the role needs a numerate degree with excellent grades from a reputable university.A demonstrable interest in financial markets is also required.

    The position is at our office in Windsor, United Kingdom. Competitive salary, including a discretionary annual performancerelated bonus.

    The position is for a fixed 18-month contract with potential to move to a permanent position.

    Responsibilities

    • The main responsibility of the individual would be the fundamental research of global equities
    • Articulate your investment view in meetings with the investment team

    Requirements

    • Excellent academic record with a university degree
    • Candidates will need to demonstrated interest in and passion for investing
    • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
    • Willingness to think differently
