    Internal Sales Executive

    Salary & Benefits:

    • £30,000 to £35,000 negotiable, depending on experience
    • Profit sharing scheme
    • Contributory pension
    • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

    Company Description: Our client is the largest electrical distributor in the United Kingdom and serves both to the trade and to the public from over 300 locations in the UK. They are looking for an exceptional Internal Sales Executive to join their team in Basingstoke. This role offers an exciting opportunity to progress within the business and to be a part of their continued success.

    Skills Required:

    • The office is fast-paced and will require a quick learner who can react to ever-changing customer requirements
    • You will also be required to support the busy trade counter, serving customers face-to-face
    • A can do attitude – we always try to make it work for the customer
    • A positive and hardworking attitude with the ability to work under pressure
    • A proven track record of working in telephone sales in the Electrical Wholesale or similar trade industry is essential
    • Electrical product knowledge is essential
    • Dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Targeting new and dormant accounts to improve sales and margin performance along with actively promoting the company and their products and services
    • Proactively seeking new business opportunities with new customers in the Facilities Management, retail, large and small contractors and commercial businesses in the Hampshire area
    • Working closely with the Manager & sales team, producing timely and accurate customer quotations
    • Maintaining and growing your customer base by selling the company's wide range of products whilst delivering an unrivalled customer service, developing relationships and encouraging repeat business

    Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

    Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
