S&P Private Markets Software solutions division empowers its customers to more effectively control their data. Whether it is for portfolio assessment, valuations, investor reporting, or on-demand insight into operating metrics of a specific asset.

S&P Private Markets is looking for a Senior Salesperson based in London. The role will be responsible for SaaS based sales covering a multitude of Private Market strategies.

The successful candidate will have experience in leading complex SaaS based sales process from opportunity origination to contractual negotiations at a Senior Executive level.

The Private Markets Software Solutions organization within S&P is fast paced, highly collaborative and carries a high profile within S&P as a strategic growth division.

Driving and executing new business revenue by meeting and/or exceeding sales targets on a consistent basis
Development and execution of a sales strategy with an emphasis on prospecting and closing new logos
Effective at building and maintaining a solid pipeline, developing proposals, structuring agreements and managing sophisticated relationships
Collaborate cross-functionally within and outside of the Private Markets Organization
Strategic work and thinking with the Account Management team and the existing client base to identify new initiatives, partnership & revenue opportunities
Broad based experience with another software vendor at a mid-senior level with exposure to managing complex relationships and/or process's
Managing complex sales process with $1M+ plus new revenue targets
Must be able to manage senior level meetings and navigate to senior level contacts at prospective clients

Sales Process Skills:
Helps customers resolve their objections
Makes connections with more than one decision maker in an account
Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal required for complex commercial and business discussions
