- Managing existing strategic and named key accounts.
- Maintaining and developing both sales and rental turnover and profit.
- Continued expansion within existing accounts and identifying new target clients and/or submarkets to break into.
- Maintaining first rate customer service levels
- Promoting / championing the company's technical expertise and ensure differentiation from competitors via promotion of product and service USP's
- Collaborating with key internal stakeholders to maximize market share and also fulfil the customers' needs.
- Assisting the Sales Director in developing the company sales strategy.
- Generating new business, utilising existing and potential customer networks.
- Working with the technical support function to ensure that customer training and support requirements are met.
- Proven knowledge of mobile mapping solutions working with customers in the UK construction and / or surveying market.
- Excellent account management skills - including the ability to identify and manage wider opportunities with key customers (Alternatively, an engineer working in the field of mobile mapping, surveying, civil engineering or construction - but looking for a more commercial role will also be considered for cross training.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels.
- A willingness to undertake business travel (domestic travel will be required for this role)
- A commitment to continually develop your skills and knowledge.
- Specific knowledge of Mobile Mapping solutions would prove ideal but knowledge of other surveying/engineering technologies with an understanding of the users of such equipment will also be considered.

About the Job:
Global market leading provider of mobile mapping and other digital reality, measurement / surveying technologies now seek to recruit an experienced Account Manager for the Yorkshire / Northeast region.
Reporting to the Sales Director your role will involve managing accounts for the UK business assuming responsibility for maximising revenue for a number of targeted, strategic and named major accounts - this will include rental, sales, service and support channels.
You will liaise with sales functions in other areas within group to grow the revenue from these clients in other industry and product specific sectors thus ensuring that all relevant group technologies are adopted by customers to support the achievement of overall regional goals.
