    STS Aviation Services is hiring Document Controllers in Newquay, United Kingdom.

    Position Summary:

If you want to be part of the next chapter of our journey playing a key role at our Hangar in Newquay then we'd love to hear from you.This is a hugely exciting time to join us, so if you want to join a growing, dynamic organisation, where you have opportunity to make a real difference, we want to hear from you.The Document Controller will report directly to the Planning Manager and is responsible for performing a variety of analytical, clerical, and decision-making functions that are necessary to assure the smooth running of maintenance inputs and day-to-day operations of the business. There may also be a requirement for domestic travel to fulfil key business objectives.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Collecting and Quality Checking of completed job cards within Base Maintenance
    • Quality Checking of completed Line Maintenance job cards
    • Closing of completed job cards within Base Maintenance Work Packages (paper and electronically)
    • Scanning of Job Cards from both Base and Line Maintenance back to customer and into STS Job Files
    • Monitors complete and incomplete job cards within Work Packages for reporting / Quality Checking purposes
    • Performs general clerical duties, to include setting up files and entering and collecting computerized data

    Skills & Experience:

    • A good knowledge of Aircraft Base and Line Maintenance preferred but not essential.
    • Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Word
    • Well organised and disciplined
    • Calm and professional under pressure
    • Excellent customer relationship skills
    • Effective communicator both verbal and written
    • Supports others to achieve individual and company objectives
    • Promotes company values
    • Flexible in approach – shift work may be required
