    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (Hampstead site).

    The post is a static part -time role covering the areas of critical care, respiratory, medicine and surgery.
    6 SLT's and you will be based in the critical care, medicine, and surgical therapy team. You will participate in the bi-weekly weaning ward rounds and MDMs on ICU. The Speech and Language Therapy team run both videofluoroscopy and FEES services.

    Degree/ graduate diploma or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy
    Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration as a speech and language therapist
    Certificated post graduate courses or equivalent inhouse training in clinical specialty areas
    Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
    Membership of an RCSLT Clinical Excellence Network (CEN)
    Post graduate work experience as an SLT with an adult acquired population within the acute hospital setting
    Practised as an SLT at Band 5 or above
    Knowledge and experience of a range of approaches for the management of speech/swallowing/language and cognitive communication deficits
    Supervision of B5 SLTs, assistants and/or students
    Active participation in an audit or project work
    Getting vaccinated, and getting a booster, remains the best defence against COVID-19.
