    About the Company

    We are the UK's pioneer comparison platform for car insurance. Since 2002, we have been assisting customers in making informed decisions about insurance and financial services. Our mission is straightforward: eliminate confusion when comparing financial products and services to help you save time and money.

    We are a part of RVU, a cluster of online brands (such as Uswitch, Tempcover) that empowers individuals to make confident decisions in various household services.

    A Product Manager (PM) plays a pivotal role in our product's comprehensive strategy, development, and success by aligning team objectives with business and user requirements. Focusing on results, fostering active collaborations across different teams, and driving iterative product development from ideation to tracking post-live success.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Product
      • Excites and engages individuals in the product vision and roadmap
      • Provides and champions a value-driven, prioritized, feasible roadmap
      • Effectively uses discovery to validate and identify product change
      • Utilizes domain expertise, data, and user research to inform decisions
      • Acts collaboratively with Marketing, Design, Product, and external 3rd parties

    2. Process

    • Ensures outcomes are effectively balanced against different company goals
    • Defines, maintains, and promotes key metrics to measure change impact
    • Ensures discovery and delivery are tightly scoped, lean, and incremental
    • Establishes user/stakeholder feedback loops for valuable insights
    • Ensures clear and continuous ownership of initiatives both internally and externally

    3. P&L Management

    • Provides profound insights in weekly trading meetings to drive business improvements
    • Collaborates with Finance to establish detailed, assumption-based budgets
    • Engages in forecasting and pacing activities
    • Exceeds business performance targets aligning with our business strategy
    • Communicates results, impacts, variances, analyses, and business cases efficiently
    • Expertise in leveraging complex supplier/partner relations, contracts, and projects to meet business objectives

    4. People Leadership

    • Leads and collaborates with internal and external team members
    • Takes ownership of executing domain plans by identifying and mitigating risks, finding solutions across people, processes, and technology
    • Prioritizes impactful initiatives, leveraging the development capacity of our white-label partners to limit work in progress
    • Advocates and educates colleagues and stakeholders on the strategy

    • Commercially informed with a strong appetite and ability to uncover unique insights by employing critical thinking alongside analyzing available data assets within RVU (Rigour)
    • A proactive approach and the capability to execute, ensuring productivity every day
    • Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to tailor messages according to the audience and influence various individuals
