    From computer vision solutions to video replay systems, our suite of technologies is used in officiating, data insights, broadcast, and entertainment across various sports.


    Role Overview:

    As a Performance QA Engineer, you'll play a vital role in our newly centralised team tasked with establishing consistent testing processes across our diverse range of technologies.

    Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you'll ensure our products meet rigorous performance standards, particularly crucial during key sporting events.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with stakeholders to define relevant non-functional requirements (NFRs) aligned with business objectives.
    Establish performance baselines through benchmarking and profiling under varying conditions.
    Design and execute realistic performance test scenarios and scripts using industry-standard tools.
    Set up monitoring tools and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) during test execution.
    Analyse test results, identify performance issues, and provide optimization recommendations.
    Manage project timelines and schedules, ensuring performance tests are conducted on time and within budget.
    Work closely with cross-functional teams to communicate performance test results, findings, and recommendations.

    Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
    Understanding of performance testing methodologies (load testing, stress testing, etc.) and when to apply each approach.
    Knowledge of web application architecture, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
    Familiarity with performance optimization techniques such as caching and load balancing.
    Expertise in designing realistic performance test scenarios and scripts.
    Proficiency in using performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
    Familiarity with monitoring and analysis tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Project management skills to manage timelines and coordinate resources effectively.
    Agile software development experience and proficiency with JIRA or similar tools.
