The Fabric Technician/HandyPerson/MultiTrader job itself where you will perform general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds.

Using multi-trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.

More specifically:
Respond to client requests by executing the reactive tasks via Engineering Service Requests in line with KPI's.

Complete Planned Preventative maintenance ensuring that KPI's are met in line with client requirements.

Must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of all systems within the building services environment.

A strong comprehension of compliance with government legislation

Provide effective feedback to the Engineering Managers to ensure that Managers are aware of any Facilities/System/Equipment/Site Engineering abnormalities.

Perform any reasonable task as required by their Supervisor / Manager

Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training.

Follow required emergency procedures as documented and to respond accordingly during emergency situations.

Report all accidents, occupational illnesses, and emergencies.

To take responsibility for defects and follow up on any repairs.

To be self-motivated and proactively seek out work.

Host & induct specialist sub-contractors, and ensure they conform to site requirements.

You will have

To be successful as Fabric Technician, you will be an experienced facilities/maintenance professional with a healthy mix of the following:

Full industry recognised qualification to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.

Experience completing Planned and Preventive Maintenance tasks.

Full Clean UK Driving Licence.

Have a positive 'can do' attitude.

Ability to work on own or as part of a team.

Great attention to detail.

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools

Comfortable using step ladders and access platforms.

Good communication and customer service skills.
