    Description

    Binding Authority Technician

    The position involves processing Binder premiums from business placed by Sales teams, with some knowledge of claims handling being helpful but not required. It's a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both virtually and from the Chelmsford office.

    What to Expect:

    • Handling the FDO's, premiums, and profit commissions of our major account along with smaller accounts

    What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out:

    You will work closely with the Binders team, collaborating with the placing team and Accounts to ensure top-notch service levels.

    Skills and Experience for Success:

    • Experience in processing FDO's, Binding Authority, and Lineslip Premiums and Claims is advantageous
    • Familiarity with CLASS, IMR, and Signing Enquiry is beneficial
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
    • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
    • Credit control proficiency

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitoring receipts, payments, unallocated cash, and held funds
    • Responding promptly to queries by Xchanging/underwriters
    • Supporting an agile and inclusive environment
