    Contract Type: Permanent

    Hours: 30 per week

    Adult Social Care, Business Information Team requires an experienced, enthusiastic and highly organised Business Information Officer to work closely with the senior analyst, service managers, senior practitioners and teams to ensure activity and performance reporting is actioned in line with the adult social care performance Framework and statutory guidance.

    The post holder must have full knowledge and experience of the national and local performance framework and statutory reporting requirements within adult social care. You will be required to develop the specifications for the report requirements to deliver the high level of management and statutory intelligence needed to support adult social care.

    The successful candidate will form successful close working relationships with corporate and service colleagues to deliver any required changes to the recording systems to ensure accurate and essential data collection is maintained and to support corporate information requirements as they arise, developing processes to maintain these effectively and automated where possible.

    You will also be required to liaise effectively with colleagues in the NHS and health services to ensure consistent reporting of shared measures across service areas. All team members are required to support and direct the workflow of the ASC Data Officer.

    You will have the technical skills and experience to develop and deliver the reporting requirements using a range of tools such as Crystal Reports/Power Query/Power BI at a high level. You will be provided with training and support to match your current skills to the role required. It is essential that the successful candidate proactively maintains their knowledge of all published guidance in relation to statutory returns and other local and national data collection activities in order to deliver accurate and timely statutory returns for social care and the accurate and timely delivery of local management intelligence.
