- Administration and planning of the Insurance Risk Review process, including managing timelines and logistics.
- Support the budget planning and cost management of the department, including people planning and vacancy management.
- Contribute towards the governance process, ensuring that the KPIs of the L&H RM department are met.
- Handle calendar management, including scheduling of internal/external appointments across time zones and arranging all required logistics (rooms, video conferences, catering, accommodation, etc).
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries, process expense reports and other administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Administrative support for the wider team which may involve a variety of tasks such as assisting with meeting and event preparation.
- Able to juggle several tasks while still able to prioritise workload and anticipate well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, OneNote, Teams and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an engaging, collaborative style, while being good at following up on actions.
- Knowledge of the Reinsurance industry and specifically Life & Health business would be a plus. #LI-Hybrid

About the Role
We're seeking a proactive, motivated individual to join us as Operations Assistant. In this role, you'll work closely with central functions of the Life & Health Risk Management (L&H RM) team, primarily supporting Insurance Risk Reviews and also the Departmental Operations Office team and the Executive Assistant to the Chief Risk Officer.

We are responsible for the end-to-end risk management, as well as valuation and reserving of the L&H Business Unit. This includes the risk management and appointed actuarial responsibilities of defined legal entities in the Group. Our department consists of almost 500 risk management and valuation colleagues who cover a multifaceted scope of activities. Risk Management helps ensure Swiss Re's profitability and sustainable growth over time so that we can honour our promises. We help the business not only steer away from risks that could destabilise us, but we also identify risks worth taking.
