Oxford Population Health (the Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford) is a global pioneer and leader in population health science.

The department has over 900 staff, students and academic visitors who work together to investigate the causes and prevention of disease and lead human health forward.

We are seeking to appoint a Facilities Assistant join the Facilities Team at the Nuffield Department of Population Health.

The Facilities team are responsible for running the building to ensure that first class research environments, including laboratory and office space across two buildings, the Richard Doll Building (RDB) and the NDPH/Big data Institute Building (NDPH/BDIB).


Working as part of the Facilities Team you will provide, as part of a team, a dedicated day-to-day facilities management service to the staff, visitors and students using the Oxford Population Health buildings.

To be considered, you will Literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to a GCSE in Maths and English, previous experience of basic maintenance tasks, excellent communication skills and an awareness of Health and Safety regulations.

Any necessary training will be provided

The post is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed-term for 3 years.
