    The Role / Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the role is to provide support to FT Specialist stakeholders regarding audience data, campaign management and marketing platform monitoring. The role also supports the marketing team in executing campaigns under the established governance framework and processes.

This role will also be expected to analyse campaign performance and offer stakeholders recommendations to optimise/refine these initiatives. The main outcome of these initiatives is that they help support the core business objectives, namely growing subscriptions, improving retention, driving user engagement and LTV.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide insight, counts and data selections of best fit to achieve campaign objectives
    • Provide support to stakeholders in the use and understanding of FT Specialist data to enhance/aid decision-making when developing campaigns
    • Maintain day-to-day contact with stakeholders, contribute to decisions regarding the campaign schedule, and oversee campaign calendars
    • Provide relevant, timely and in-depth, yet easily digestible campaign analysis, to help shape future campaigns
    • Help the business understand what impact communications have on engagement, subscription acquisition or subscription retention, as appropriate
    • Develop reports and dashboards, if relevant, for our stakeholders
    • Take ownership of the Data Manager, by ensuring it is continuously maintained and organised
    • Proactively make recommendations in terms of targeting as well as potential new activity, often challenging the status quo
    • Work in close collaboration with the Data and Tracking team
    • Responsible for managing and prioritising own workload
    Required Skills / Experience
    • Experience of email campaign management
    • Enthusiastic about working with a Customer Data & Experience Platform (CDXP)
    • Familiar with Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM), particularly customer targeting
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
    • The ability to work proactively and be able to operate with limited supervision from the line manager
    • Numerically adept with a keen eye for detail
    • Highly organised and able to meet deadlines consistently
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively meet stakeholder expectations
