    Your Role:


    As a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will lead a small yet focused team tasked with delivering highly scalable and robust services within the Global Relay platform.

    Your responsibilities include ensuring the application of effective testing strategies in your domain, focusing on shift-left testing principles. You will drive enhancements in your team's automation frameworks and coverage while mentoring fellow SDETs on cutting-edge technologies and testing methodologies. Additionally, you will guide and actively participate in testing efforts to guarantee coverage, code quality, and timely delivery.

    Your Job:
    - Oversee performance evaluations and recruitment for a small SDET team
    - Drive testing and automation strategies for the team
    - Plan and organize testing for releases
    - Develop automation frameworks, tests, and tools
    - Engage in team planning, story grooming, and test execution
    - Identify and address issues during testing to support releases
    - Propose and implement enhancements to automation and testing processes
    - Create and maintain shared testing libraries
    - Provide training, mentorship, and assistance to team members
    - Conduct code reviews and uphold automation code quality
    - Document automation framework, tools, and infrastructure

    About You:
    - Minimum of 8 years in test development
    - At least 2 years leading a small team
    - Proficiency in Java and object-oriented principles
    - Strong grasp of test practices in an agile setup
    - Familiarity with JUnit or similar unit testing frameworks
    - Experience testing backend systems or APIs
    - Knowledge of various tools such as JMeter, Selenium WebDriver, etc.
    - Understanding of technologies like Hadoop, MongoDB, etc.
    - Familiarity with network principles and protocols
    - Exposure to CI/CD systems like Jenkins or Bamboo
