Description
Our client is a major player in the OSS / Network Automation software and services industry with a global workforce of about 30,000 individuals.
The Sales Director (Networks) will focus on acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships by creating and executing sales strategies tailored to Network Division growth (OSS, 5G Core, Charging, Policy Network Services). This position, whether based in the UK or Germany, is a standalone role with responsibilities that include prospecting for new business and cross-selling to the Vodafone group.
The role entails:
- Being a high-impact contributor tasked with establishing enduring partnerships with both current and prospective clients.
- Cultivating and nurturing positive relationships with key decision-makers in purchasing, executive sponsors, mentors, and influencers, among others, to broaden the scope of my client's influence.
- Developing network expansion and enhancement strategies with the objective of securing valuable network solutions.
- Being a Problem Solver: showcasing creativity, innovation, and thinking unconventionally. Educating customers on novel and relevant concepts while encouraging them to consider new or innovative problem-solving approaches.
- Serving as the customer advocate by proactively identifying areas for enhancement and devising methods to exceed expectations and foster loyalty through customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrating value: grasping the customer's desired outcomes and understanding their significance to the customer.
Key requirements:
- 10+ years of sales experience in Network solutions for CSP's (Network Software - PCRF, DPI, OSS, Service Assurance, Orchestration, Inventory, 5G slicing etc).
- Extensive, verifiable connections at Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 operators.
- Proven success in finalizing substantial and intricate deals by formulating and carrying out sales strategies spanning diverse markets.
- Profound understanding and background in the Telecommunications and networking sector (BSS, OSS, 4G / 5G, Virtualization / Cloud Services and Evolution).
- Outstanding interpersonal, collaboration, and team-building skills.
- Proficient in English (both spoken and written); proficiency in languages pertinent to the accounts/region is advantageous.
- Proficiency in executive-level communication and presentation.
