    The Client Support Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the client experience is of the highest quality, ensuring that engagement with clients is friendly, supportive, and highly professional.

    The Client Support Administrator will ensure that appointments are made promptly, payment is taken, and that high front of house standards are maintained.

    Mercer and Hughes are a small animal veterinary practice with surgeries in Stansted Mountfitchet (near Bishops Stortford), Dunmow, and Saffron Walden. Our new vet surgery in Braintree (Bocking) opened September 2019. The modern hospital at our Saffron Walden practice provides 24 hour care to our in-patients, whilst day surgeries are carried out across all four of our branches.

    Job Purpose Summary

    Key Role Accountabilities :

    • Ensure that appointments are made promptly and that practice diaries are filled.
    • Proactively contact clients to rebook missed appointments, follow up on unactioned estimates generated.
    • Take payment at the end of every consultation in line with company policy and book a follow up appointment.
    • Develop clients understanding of the Kin Vet Community Health Care Plan, ensuring high take up of the product.
    • Ensure that client details are up to date on all files, including insurance details, emails, contact details and patients' weights.
    • Be accountable for ensuring that insurance process is followed in clinic as per company policy.
    • Ensure that Kin Vet Community Debt and Insurance policies are always followed.
    • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the reception area, greeting clients warmly as they arrive and as they call the clinic.
    • Respond to incoming practice emails in a warm and timely manner
    • These responsibilities are non-exhaustive and the role may require them to undertake any additional reasonable duties.
