- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, supporting their professional development and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safe work procedures for high voltage activities, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, maintenance, and engineering teams, to ensure the reliability and integrity of high voltage systems.
- Act as a point of contact for external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and contractors, regarding high voltage operations and compliance matters.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Valid Senior Authorised Person (SAP) certification for high voltage switching operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience supervising and mentoring junior team members.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Full clean driving licence.
- Previous experience working within commercial projects / minimum 3 years qualified experience.

We require an SAP to join our business due to continued growth of the business, As a Senior Authorised Person (High Voltage), you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our high voltage systems.
You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of high voltage switching operations, issuing safety documentation, testing, as well as providing technical expertise and guidance to our team members.
Successful candidates will be working across a mixture of sectors including renewables, banking, commercial office, industrial sectors and should have at least 3 years' previous experience in this area.
Applicants must have ECS/CSCS card and hold full electrical qualifications. Knowledge of testing and inspecting required.Plan and coordinate high voltage switching operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
