    Description

    We have an exciting opportunity for a BI Developer to join our Business Intelligence Team within our IT Directorate here at The London Clinic. This role is based at our head office in Central London with remote working available, and we are offering a competitive inclusive salary.

    Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest private hospitals, with 8 state-of-the-art facilities, and circa 1350 employees where we are dedicated to providing our patients with expert, individualised treatment and care. Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 150+ patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive/day surgery theatres. Speciality areas include, General surgery; ENT; Gynaecology; Hepatobiliary; Neuro-spinal; Ophthalmic; Orthopaedic; Plastic and reconstructive; Robotic; Urology; Vascular & Weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery).

    Job Description

    Working in the healthcare industry based in central London, the successful candidate will work within the Business Intelligence & Data Engineeringteam delivering transformation projects in the area of Corporate and Financial Reporting

    • Job Type: Full Time, permanent position.
    • Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Mon - Fri within the core hours of 9am - 5.30pm.
    • Location: The London Clinic Head Office – NW1 4LJ (Remote working available).

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Apply your knowledge of healthcare systems to manage, analyse, and interpret complex data sets, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
    • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or supported reporting tools to provide actionable insights and support business decisions.
    • Develop automated reporting and alerting mechanisms
    • Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI reporting and analysis
    • Develop and maintain data models for business analytics
    • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in SQL coding and other BI & Cloud technologies
    • Clearly articulate ideas, solutions, and data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prepare and present detailed documentation and reports.
    • Assist in the development and support of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
    • Implement data reconciliation and validation processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of data
    • Provide End User training and support for BI tools and reports.

    Skills & Experience

    • Experience in data models and architecture
    • Experience in ETL processes, Database Automation Tools, Data Quality and Master Data Management and Power BI Integration and deployment.
      Experience in Financial and Corporate Reporting / KPI's
    • Experience in Data Quality and Master Data Management
    • Experience in Power BI Integration and deployment.
    • Wherescape Red Experience is an advantage
    • Experience in SQL Server and the Microsoft development stack is an advantage
    • Experience using tools such Azure, Data Factory, Fabric is an advantage.
