    Description

    Pay, benefits and more:

    You'll be paid a salary of up to £40,000 per annum. You'll also get 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance.     What you'll do on a typical day:

    • You'll ensure that there is sufficient resource and capacity available to meet demand, identifying and tracking key variables impacting KPI's and budget
    • You'll track variances in planned volumes versus budget & forecasts, analyse the data and provide information to the operations and finance team for budgeting purposes, projecting trends and planning contingency
    • You will plan staffing requirements which include ad-hoc, short- and long-term modelling staffing requirements as volumes change
    • You'll be involved in monthly forecast reviews with site management and the customer

    What you need to succeed at GXO:

    • You'll have experience in demand, capacity, and resource planning, preferably in third party logistics or a similar environment
    • You'll need confident communication skills as you'll be liaising with multiple functions across the business, such as operations, finance and HR, senior management and the customer
    • You'll need to work well on your own initiative, taking responsibility for processes and your workload, as well as that of your team
    • Managing change and changing priorities will not phase you – this is logistics after all
