    Description

    The main purpose of this role is to manage and deliver events for RacingLine, reporting into the Senior Event Manager.

    It prides itself on the quality of its service and this is a critical competitive differentiator for the company.

    Responsiveness is also a key quality that RacingLine's customers value highly. It relies on its employees to adapt and react when customers require more, or something special. EVENT MANAGER – RESPONSIBILITIES
    Full event management of events passed from the Senior Events Account Manager and where applicable, the Events Director and Commercial Director

    Manage and attend events awarded from clients to RacingLine – events ranging from: Ride and Drives, Industry dinners, Conferences – breakfast meetings, half day meetings, full day conferences (with an overnight), VIP events e.g.

    corporate hospitality, dinners in 5* restaurants, hotels, Exhibitions, Team building, Customer event support requests
    Events range from small through to large scale e.g. Operate events to the standards of both RL and the client
    Be accountable for all elements of the event to client
    Onsite attendance to all events where required
    Full budget management from start to finish to include reconciliation and invoicing to client
    Proposal writing in full for management team sign off
    Be the main day to day contact for our key blue chip, automotive clients
    Ensure the company's event deadlines are adhered to at all times
    Ensuring compliance with the Events Manager role at all times
    Ensuring the events are delivered to a high standard at all times – where concerns arise these are escalated to the Senior Events Account Manager and then Events Director and Commercial Director where applicable

    Flexible attitude to 'getting the job done'
    Commercially aware to business developments and sales opportunities

    As with all events work, you will be required to travel and work away from home from time to time.

    Your normal hours of work are from 0900 to 1730 Monday to Friday but will also include weekends for events, therefore, you will be expected to work such hours as are necessary to complete the tasks allotted to you and no overtime payments are made.
