They are currently expanding their dynamic team and are seeking a talented Electromechanical Specialist to join them in their Leeds office. Responsibilities:
Design and develop simulation models for complex electromechanical devices, including robotics and control systems
- Perform simulations to predict device performance using multi-domain simulation approaches
- Analyze system dynamics, stability, reliability, and design robustness
- Identify potential design problems and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with teams and testing associates to research, design, execute, validate, and report on computational modeling and physical/functional testing studies
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or similar field
- Strong analytical skills in engineering, statistics, structural dynamics, and vibration
- Experience with electromechanical devices and a robust understanding of robotics and control systems
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ or Python
- Familiarity with simulation software, preferably ANSYS
- Knowledge of industry standards and certifications relevant to robotics and control systems
