    Who we are looking for?

    You will work with the Marketing team to take ownership of key marketing deliverables in support of Raymond James' business and brand – supporting branches, Business Development and the corporate brand. Specific responsibility for content creation, corporate communications and branch marketing support.

    ***12 Months FTC***

    General Responsibilities

    • Perform regular analysis on brand marketing activity and produce actionable insights
    • Create and develop original content and adapt existing content for marketing communications, digital properties and promotional materials to support:

    Raymond James wealth managers and their teams

    Raymond James' business development team

    Raymond James' internal departments, associates and the corporate brand

    • Write original copy and proofread materials to an extremely high standard
    • Contribute to the PR strategy and discussions through idea generation based on informed market insights and wider business and marketing strategy knowledge
    • Support the financial promotions review process for the marketing team ensuring other team members understand and follow review procedures and all reviews are logged correctly
    • Work with branches on all marketing-related subjects, including individual branch marketing strategies and support with tactical marketing activities
    • Engage with prospects on the marketing offering and highlight the strength of the Raymond James brand
    • Ensure all work is timely, accurate, relevant, of a high standard and compliant
    • Agree and work within expense budgets and deadline requirements as appropriate
    • Establish and manage effective third-party relationships, review costs and contracts, and source additional suppliers where required
    • Understanding and adherence to FCA guidelines, regulation and Consumer Duty imperatives as well as GDPR best practices
    • Consider the principles of Consumer Duty in all activities

    Specialist and Technical Knowledge

    • Full proficiency in MS Office
    • An advanced familiarity with copywriting styles and standards
    • Excellent grammar, spelling, and composition
    • Proficient use of Zoom including webinar functionality desirable
    • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and campaign management systems
    • Investment/financial industry knowledge and a grasp of UK compliance/regulatory guidelines

    Attributes and Qualifications

    • Excellent attention to detail essential
    • Experience in a marketing role in financial or professional services essential
    • University degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, English/English Literature or Journalism preferred
    • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentational
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cohesively as part of a team, as well as independently
    • Proactive and innovative
    • Sound project management, administrative and organisational skills
    • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a very high standard of accuracy
    • Optimistic, energetic and confident individual
    • Due to the nature of the role the preferred individual should have flexibility to support ad hoc events where appropriate (this can be outside of core hours)
