    We are looking for a Senior Research Analyst to join us and support the production of our cost, emissions and ESG analysis for gold mines globally.

    Within Metals & Mining, we work with a range of clients including mining companies, investment banks, institutional investors, and industrial conglomerates, and our analysis supports these clients with their critical decision-making.

    As a Senior Analyst, you will be required to:
    Undertake detailed research and analysis of gold mines globally, understanding their financial performance, carbon footprint and valuation.

    Build and maintain contacts, and collate information from key industry participants virtually or in person through asset visits and meetings.

    Engage regularly with clients, and respond to client enquiries and ad hoc requests in a timely and professional manner.

    Work as part of a team in the publication of our regular research reports.
    such as mining industry decarbonisation, ESG challenges and industry fundamentals.
    Help in the coaching, mentoring and development of junior members of staff.
    Preferably gained from 4-8 years of mining industry experience.
    Good written and spoken English.
    Creative and innovative thinking; Good organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage your own workload.

    You have an analytical mindset and an eye for detail , which have been proven in your academic and work experience to date.

    Having experience in a financial analysis discipline is advantageous.

    You are experienced at collecting and interpreting data and are skilled at articulating your findings in a clear, concise, and insightful manner.

    You are looking for a role where you can build on your existing knowledge and learn from others in a collaborative, commercial and client-centric environment .

    You have the desire to develop relationships with mid-to-senior-level clients and industry contacts.

    We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.

    While this is expected to be a full-time role, part-time or flexible working arrangements will be considered.

    Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
