  • Job Function: Finance and RiskNational Grid Ventures (NGV) operates five interconnectors that are made up of three Unincorporated Joint Ventures (UJVs) and two Incorporated Joint Ventures (IJVs). All these Ventures are in partnership with Transmission Owners of the partner country.


We're seeking an experienced
Finance Business Partner to partner with our Commercial, Customer & Regulation (CCR) team for the three current UJVs (IFA, IFA2, & North Sea Link) as well as Viking Link once it becomes operational.


The CCR team are responsible for defining the commercial strategy & leading on progressing the regulatory frameworks for existing and future UJV interconnectors, as well as designing and implementing product and trading strategies to maximise UJV Interconnector revenues while minimising the impact of market volatility.


As a Finance Business Partner, you'll be accountable for Month End revenue, revenue forecasting in each Quarterly Forecast (QRF) and yearly Strategic Business Plan as well as managing any associated queries from stakeholders.

You'll enable process improvement mainly through automation as well as utilising the Data Warehouse which runs through Power BI.

You'll manage the regulatory submissions with OFGEM, developing a deep understanding of the regulatory schemes which underpin the Interconnectors such as Use of Revenues for IFA, and the Cap & Floor framework for IFA2, NSL, and Viking Link.

About You:

You're a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with financial reporting, planning, forecasting and risk management experience. You have excellent stakeholder management skills and can form strong relationships with your stakeholders. You have demonstrated leadership qualities and have experience managing a team. You're comfortable working through ambiguity and making decisions, even when all the information may not be available. You're detailed focused, can think outside the box and can move things forward using your own initiative. You're analytical, have strong problem-solving skills, a commercial mindset, and a desire to develop yourself and your team.


What You'll Get:

£55,000 - £65,000 per annum - dependent on experience.
