Their software and enterprise products leverage SaaS, Cloud, Data Management, Analytics as well as Machine Learning and AI.They need a Technical QA Lead, who will assume a crucial leadership role overseeing the QA processes, ensuring the delivery of products that adhere to the company's stringent quality standards. You are a coach and mentor for methodologies, frameworks, and the importance of building quality as a culture. You will be the sole QA operating in a team of 11 Engineers / DevOps Engineers.


    Objective:

    The team is all in for team quality and are up for change, however, they need someone who can lean on their experience and guide them in the right direction.

    You will be the sole QA voice for this team, so how will you convey a message and take a business on a journey? What challenges do you foresee with leading this change, how have you handled this in the past, and what did you learn from those experiences? Whilst the team is all up for team-owned quality, the question is how far are they willing to go to meet your standards? How do you take a team to your level of quality standards? How do you use automation to increase the speed of the delivery cadence (currently 4 times a year, with a clear objective of getting this to every 3 weeks)

    As a Lead QA Engineer, you will have the following experience:

    You will review existing QA process (when have been neglected for some time) and make improvements that meet the wider QA strategy.

    You are confident in challenging the norm (the team are willing to embrace change) but change needs to happen and you a re responsible for making this happen.

    You have deep experience supporting continuous deployment workstreams, working closely with Engineering Managers, DevOps and Software Engineers.

    Experience supporting and coordinating delivery to implement continuous delivery including quality gates, process, and tooling for scalabilityYou are adapt in your ability to communicate, influence and take senior stakeholder on a journey when presenting technical solutions.

    Experience fostering a 'quality-first' approach and assisting the QA Director with quality as a culture adoption.
    You have strong technical knowledge of testing and automating APIs and distributed systems.

    Your test approach is to have strong unit, component and integration tests coverage and focus on the small quick wins first and tackle the big problems later.

    You consider the importance of Performance, Security, Disaster recovery testingYou have hands-on experience with test automation, specifically using C# (ideally)
