    Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear fromexperienced Electricians interested in a full time, permanent positionbased at HMP Holme House.

    Working as part of a team, you willcarry out a crucial role by ensuring planned and reactive maintenancework is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner.

    Role Profile & Responsibilities
    ~ Hours: 39 hours per week.

    o Rolling 3-week shift pattern, more information providedupon request.
    Planned and preventative electricalmaintenance.
    Diagnosing and replacing failed domesticelectrical components.

    Responding to breakdowns ensuringall works are carried out under the appropriate Safe System of workand in a timely manner.

    Actively fault finding / problemsolving on domestic electrical systems across the prison.
    Undertaking electrical installation activities in accordance with thedesign provided and IET Wiring Regulations.
    Testing andinspecting electrical installations in accordance with the current IEEwiring regulations.
    Monitoring and ordering critical sparesfor all electrical services.
    Other tasks as required by theSite.

    This role will also support both local and businesszero carbon programmes, working towards zerocarbon in a strategic andlean manner as and where it is appropriate.

    Responsible forensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
    Desired Applicant Profile
    Ideally commercial electricalexperience.
    Full UK driving licence.
    Right towork in the UK - our client cannot offer sponsorship.
    Appropriate technical qualification eg City & Guilds 2365 parts 1-3,BTEC, NVQ level 3 or above.
    Ideally 18th edition wiringregulations, although if you have 17th our client will sponsor you toupgrade).
    Experience of electrical maintenance activities,general distribution and installation and testing.
    Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at workRegulations.
    Able to pass security clearances.
