    Job Title: HR Manager

    Location: Channing School, London

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Channing School, a prestigious and forward-thinking independent day school for girls aged 4-18 with around 1000 pupils and 250 staff, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join the fantastic and vibrant community.     The Role:

    As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the people strategy, ensuring the well-being and professional growth of their dedicated team. You will oversee all aspects of HR operations, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and professional development. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and motivating workplace culture.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • the recruitment process, ensuring we attract and retain top talent
    • employee relations, including performance management and conflict resolution
    • and implement HR policies and procedures that reflect best practices
    • staff training and professional development programs
    • compliance with employment laws and school policies

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in an educational setting
    • knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and employee relations
    • interpersonal and communication skills
    • to work independently and as part of a team
    • qualification or equivalent is desirable
