Customer Service Assistant (Betting) - PAID TRAINING


A customer service assistant with Britbet is a customer service based role, which involves placing bets on behalf of customers and in turn paying out winning ticket/s at the Newcastle Greyhound Stadium.

This requires the use of a touchscreen terminal to navigate around the different races and bet types.


Role duties;

  • To use the betting terminals to take bets from customers (training provided on the system)
  • Pay out guests who supply winning ticket/s
  • Provide excellent customer service to racegoers
  • Handle cash and cash up at the end of each race day
  • Explain effectively, different bet types to customers (training provided)

Skills / Attributes;

  • Good customer service experience
  • Good mental arithmetic
  • No prior knowledge of racing or betting needed
  • Ability to deal with cash efficiently and total up at the end of each race day
  • Confident relaying information to guests around bets and races after training
  • Enthusiastic

Pay Rate:
£ £12.46 (hourly rate plus holiday pay)
