    Night Shift Maintenance Engineer - Wakefield
    Maintenance engineer | £50k – £55k | 4 on 4 off (Nights only) | Wakefield |

    A leading FMCG manufacturing business based in Wakefield is currently looking for a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

    Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer will take responsibility for both proactive and reactive maintenance duties within this fast-paced production environment.

    As a key member of the Engineering team, you will share responsibility for achieving budgeted machine performance targets and ensuring the machines are kept running to peak performance within the manufacturing unit.

    Key Responsibilities of a

    Night Shift Maintenance Engineer:

    • Daily plant inspections, monitoring plant performance
    • You will need to facilitate a speedy response to all plant stoppages and plan/implement modifications to new and existing equipment
    • Carrying out fault-finding diagnoses/repairs on equipment and plant
    • Successful Night Shift Maintenance Engineer will be/have:
    • Previous experience working within an FMCG manufacturing environment
    • Time served an apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding an Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering HND / HNC / BTech / ONC / C&G Level 3 qualifications or higher
