    Description


    We are currently working in partnership with one of our Local Government clients, who are looking for a fully remote locum Contracts & Procurement Solicitor on an initial 3-month contract.

    The position is due to start immediately, and the hourly rate of pay is negotiable depending on PQE.The ideal candidate will team player who can handle a complex caseload with minimal supervision, and must be qualified.


    Duties will include (but are not limited to):

    Dealing with a range of commercial issues including contracts and agreements, complex procurements, alternative delivery structures, innovative approaches to service delivery and projects Advising on, drafting and reviewing, commercial contracts, funding agreements and other legal documents Partnering with the business to advise on the legal implications of their activityProviding an effective legal service in relation to all contracts, procurement and commercial matters including a good working knowledge of EU procurement legislation and advising on subsidy controlExperience required:Experience required in Local GovernmentRewards and Benefits:Fully remote workingWorking hours:37 hours per week Monday – FridayPlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
