    We are looking to add a Safety Case consultant to our team

    Development and maintenance of the safety case.

    Be responsible for the maintenance of the safety cases supporting normal operations and fault scenarios during the generation and defueling phases of operation.

    Provide technical leadership in resolving challenging issues to support the construction, commissioning and the safe operation of the Nuclear Power Plant.

    Provide technical leadership to define and deliver safety case requirements to ensure compliance within a regulated environment.
    Provide safety justifications to support modifications.

    Delivering consultancy that meets, and exceeds the expectations of the client, in regard to technical excellence and the quality of deliverables.

    Managing this work (in the form of small to medium sized projects) either as a project or technical lead.

    Delivering the work within budget and to the agreed programme whilst keeping track of the project (all aspects).
    Liaising with all concerned of both technical and commercial progress.
    Developing skills in growing projects.

    Previous experience working within the Nuclear industry
    Understanding of the safety case production process and methodologies
    Familiarity with areas such as decommissioning, optioneering, best practice, human factors, radioactive materials transport, licensing/de-licensing, radioactive waste
    A Degree or equivalent in engineering, science or related field of study.
