    Description

    Salary:
    £60-£65k per annum + car allowance + London Weighting allowance + fantastic benefits including enhanced maternity/ paternity and sick pay

    We are looking for chartered Structural or Civil Structural Engineer, with a strong technical background and an ability to demonstrate a professional competency in structural engineering.

    An experience of working on a wide range of projects encompassing superstructures and substructures. Must have an ability to design and inspect steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures to British and Eurocode Standards.

    To assist the Technical Director and Department Head in running the Structural Engineering Team, expanding its workload, and gaining new opportunities.

    Design audits of whole or elements of projects
    # Line Management of engineering staff
    # Carry out design audits and risk appraisals
    # Day-to-day running of projects
    # Keep up to date with developments in civil structures, and structural engineering standards
    # Technical report writing

    Degree in civil or structural Engineering
    Demonstrable experience in civil and structural engineering
    Ability to work in a team, giving guidance and support and training as and when necessary
    Enthusiasm for engineering quality and improvement
    Project management experience an advantage
    Full UK driving licence
    Ability and flexibility to travel
    Degree in civil or structural Engineering
