    Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) - Boston

    Are you an experienced engineer seeking a dynamic role in the food processing industry? We're currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join an ambient food processor in Boston.

    Role Overview:

    • Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical)
    • Location: Boston
    Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off rotating

    • Salary: £47,000 for fully qualified Electrical Engineers | £45,000 for Mechanical Engineers plus formal electrical qualifications (rising to £47,000 upon completion)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
    • Implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and increase efficiencies.
    • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to support production goals and maintain safety standards.
    • Upholding health and safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety within the organisation

    Requirements:

    • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
    • Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within the food processing industry.
    • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery.
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
